A Thoughtful Thank You

As the big day nears, you are busily trying to tie up loose ends and making sure no part of the planning process has been left out. The cake has been ordered, your dress is altered to fit perfectly, and you have decided on your “something old, something new” (something borrowed, and something blue…). However, you are stuck trying to figure out how to thank your bridesmaids for all the dedication and support they have given you.

One of my best friends handled the situation perfectly when she picked out earrings for each of her bridesmaids that she thought fit our personalities. This was an extremely thoughtful way for her to show her gratitude, and it was fun seeing how her picks really did match our personalities and style!

If you are having trouble picking out gifts, take the time to think about each of your bridesmaids and the special bond you have with them. Relive your memories and think of what makes that person near and dear to you. Then make your decision on what you believe would be the perfect way to say “thank you” to those who have been there for every step of the wedding planning way!

Elite Bridal Concierge Tips on Etiquette...

ETIQUETTE?!? What's that? What do I need to know?

Tabitha Dantzler over at Dantzler Designs host the blog, The Elite Bridal Concierge. She has a wonderful must follow series on Etiquette. This week she touches on the importance of a reply to wedding invitations, or any invitation that request it. We often are graced with invitations to attend events, but the idea of follow up with a response isn't received as requested from the sender. Read her take on the matter, bookmark or subscribe, and follow the series! I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I did.
